New Year @ My Valentine with love

I didn't begin 2013 so well, It was stress with exam, with life. I am fed up of those faker surrounding me and I still need to smile at them all the time. But, what to do? This is Human .

CNY celebration was good and awesome. He flew over here to celebrate CNY and valentine's with me. Though It was a simple celebration, but it means a lot for me. I knew he can't plan anything as everything is out from his capabilities in miri. I wish to tell you, " I LOVE YOU" . Your maturity seriously impressed me, Your understanding, your sincerity, your sacrification, your honesty, your love, your care, your everything. Sweetness mimic in my heart ^^.

Friend always told me that it is good to have a boyfriend that in love with photography. Honestly speaking, my boy never able to capture any single nice picture of me. NEVER!!! Blame myself maybe...

I curled my hair and at last I Chopped it off due to messiness. Dyed a new light reddish copper brown with long fridge. I flipped through those photo albums and I was like OMG!!I changed a lot. I shall admit, Time leaves no man.

Imperfection

沿海地带

I'm back again!!!

Decided to blog about 沿海地带 

It is quite an interesting place to hang out with the nice enviroment.

But if you dislike to walk into a sandy area with your nice dress and high heel... then.....

The banana choco toast is a must to try.

Lemongrass lychee is recommended too.

As soon as I entered into the shop,the first girl i think of is my dear kpc brenna.

She love those "so-called art" n small small cherish things.

So do I,and I enjoyed it too.

Night all~

White Fungus chicken soup

Simple Ingredients: 
white fungus
 drumsticks
red dates
tbs wolf berries (gou qi zi)
salt and pepper to taste

Method:
1. Soak the white fungus til soft (ard 30 minutes will do). Trim the yellow bits and cut into bite sized chunks.
2. Scald the chicken in boiling water and discard the water. (this is to remove the raw chicken taste)
3. Put all the ingredients into a slow cooker with 2 liters of boiling water. Cook on low for 4 hours (or on high for 2).(slow cooker will do) 
4. Season with salt and pepper as  you wished.


Important tips:

White fungus- Nourish the lings, High content of collagen

Wolf berries - For eye

Red dates- Blood cicultation

Notes:

 secret to a 'sweet' / tasty broth is not too much water relative to bones....errmmm...say a chicken drumstick to 500ml or one kg of chicken bones to 2 liters of water. If you do not have a slow cooker, just use a normal pot and allow the soup to simmer for an hour or so. I think the time/ heat facilitates protein breakdown in the bones n flesh, releasing glutamates and impart the 'sweet' taste that is so charactistic of good chinese soups. The correct term would be 'umami' and it's exactly what mono sodium glutatmate (msg) tastes like..it enhances the flavours of the other ingredients and leaves you wanting more...glutamates also occur naturally in cheese, milk and mushrooms..and soy sauce.
